  • Cultural Activities

In order to create a 21st-century style forest culture that supports the rich interaction between the forests and people, we believe that it is necessary to make use of different sets of knowledge that are available, and to use and adapt it to suit the needs of our time. We help to provide a place for local residents to rediscover the rich local natural resources and traditional cultures found on the north slope of Mt. Fuji. We offer opportunities for people to rebuild a more symbiotic relationship with the forest so that they can feel proud of the abundant regional resources.

Nature-observation groups are organized where people get a change to go out to enjoy the seasons, observe nature, and to foster an understanding and interest for nature conservation. Our tree climbing activities use specialized gear for tree climbing where people get to know the tree and experience a bird's eye view of the surrounding landscape. Our Nordic walking tours try to facilitate an understanding of our coexistence with the forest.
